Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much will my video cost?
A: Good question. You would want to get sushi from a qualified sushi chef, or you would get sick from raw fish. That's why sushi costs $6/bite or more. Same with video. Our going rate is $500/day for a camera operator, $250/day for camera rental, $700/day for producer, and $750/day for editing. Figure some preproduction time, add 20% to what you think you'll need, and you should have a good idea of what it will cost. But, we do have stimulus packages, and bail-out specials, guaranteed to get you through your project without too much pain.

Q: Do I need to know how to make a video to work with Inside-Vegas?
A: Inside-Vegas has worked with pros and rookies alike. We have multiple skills, so we can make a graphic and write a script, or hire talent for you. Or, you lead the way, and tell us when to press record. Any way you want it, we get your video shot.

Q: What cameras do you use?
A: Well, any of them, pretty much, except film cameras. Our experience starts in small market cable broadcast, and spans all the way to state of the art Grass Valley HD cameras. Our main workhorse is the Sony HVR-Z1U camera, and we have others at low rental rates.

Q: Why Inside-Vegas Productions?
A: We know Vegas. We have worked in most of the major casinos in town, and know where to shoot (and where not to). We know talent and crew that live here and work here, so we don't get into silly per diem battles. So many Hollywood refugees come here, we have quite a stable of shooters, editors and technicians to choose from. We're not so bad ourselves!
